The Rum Shack, St. Thomas

I had the pleasure of enjoying a PAINKILLER at the Rum Shack, located just a block or so from the pier at St. Thomas. Very friendly and great drinks. They were saying that the place had lost its lease and was going to have to move. (as of June 2008) Have you been to the Rum Shack lately?

we just got back from st thomas and i love the rum shack…however i was told they were going to tear it down in febuary, that really sucks, it would be hard to find another place like this, the girl behind the bar is just great and the guys that hang out there are all very cool…i for the past 4 years have looked so foward to seeing this place the bar tender and the guys that hang out…what a shame if they do away with it …sam and pat jax fla

yes we just got back….looks like feburary is when they plan on closing it .. this really is my favorite spot on the island lots of cool local hang out and i really like the bar tender …we have been to st thomas and the rum bar each year…i am really hoping is has a turn around and stays, you would be hard pressed to find another place like this i told them they need to sell the shack on e bay …if i were them i really would try to save the place …st thomas just wont be the same without the rum shack …Sam and pat jax florida
