The St. Thomas Painkiller Enjoyed at the Rum Shack

Rum Shack, St. Thomas June 2008
Here’s a shot of the Painkiller made at the Rum Shack on St. Thomas Island. Topped with nutmeg, it’s a tasty combo of Caribbean Rum, pineapple and orange juice. The Rum Shack, I was sad to hear, was loosing its location. A local bar / restaurant was taking over in its location. I hope they were able to find a new spot. The Rum Shack / House was a very friendly and local hang out. If you have an update, please post a comment.

i really hope a lot of people get to go by the rum shack its just such a cool place

is this place still there …we are going out on the carnival glory the 29th of august…and we always stop by to see megan , she told us last august when we were there that they were going to remove it from the parking lot …boy that would be ashame … its really a cool place i could sit there all afternoon …yeah the pain killer will remove all the neg feedback you may have …

Hey Sam and Pat — I am thinking it has been moved or closed. I have a local I’ll check with. If I can find out anything, it would be great if you could share a story and pics when you get back!
Thanks for your comments. We are still planning to get Cruise Snapshot developed. Want to have give-aways for pictures that are shared by drawings. Digital cameras and Flip video recorder are first prizes. Hope to have a fun site going by years end.

hope its still there …we leave out on the glory 8/29/09 and will be there i think on tuesday the first…would love to see megan again …let us know if you find out thanks sam

Hey Sam and Pat — I asked spidermantours on twitter and he said “It is being rebuilt, with a new name called MoJo’s”.
If you find it, please let me know. I would love to do an update here, as in a new article.
I’ve not really yet had time to do what I have planned here, but it will come.
